Lille have reportedly opened talks with Manchester City about the possibility of keeping Marcos Lopes for another season.
Despite Lille's struggles to find consistency in Ligue 1 this season, Lopes has taken full advantage of the opportunity to play regularly by becoming a key player for Rene Girard's side.
According to the Daily Mail, the French club are eager to secure another season-long loan deal for the 19-year-old, who joined City from Benfica in 2011.
However, the attacking midfielder's contract with City expires next summer, and a second loan spell could depend on whether the Premier League champions can persuade him to sign a new deal.
Lopes has made 18 appearances in all competitions this season.
