Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim insists that his Turkish side will not change their game in order to stop Manchester United pair Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa.

Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim believes that Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa will be strong for Manchester United in tonight's Champions League clash but the Turkish boss is confident that his side can cause an upset.

The 59-year-old takes his team to Old Trafford for their first group match in the elite European tournament and Terim believes that they can repeat their victory in 1993, when they knocked the Red Devils out of the competition.

"Fenerbahce and Besiktas got famous victories at this ground before and we had eliminated them in 1993," said Terim.

"We can repeat that success. For me, Manchester United is the most successful club in Champions League football. Last year's failure doesn't change that.

"They have the likes of Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa, who is a very special player in my opinion. We do not consider to use a man-to-man defence against their attacking weapons."

In yesterday's Champions League action, Manchester City failed to overcome Real Madrid in a late 3-2 win for the Spanish giants, while the Gunners secured a 2-1 victory over Montpellier.
