AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli is confident that his old team Manchester City will beat bitter rivals Manchester United when they clash later today.

The Italian was part of the City team that did the double over United last season as Roberto Mancini's side won the Premier League title.

He told the club's official website: "I am sure Roberto Mancini will find the right way to win the derby. I really hope City win.

"I am sure me and Nigel [de Jong] will watch the game - perhaps not together - but we will both supporting our ex-teammates, the boss and the supporters big time; we want a win."

City are currently 15 points behind the Red Devils in the title race with just eight games left to play this season.
