Football Association to investigate Marouane Fellaini 'spit' at Pablo Zabaleta?

The FA reportedly launch an investigation into a clip appearing to show Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini spitting at his Manchester City opponent Pablo Zabaleta.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini could reportedly face punishment from the Football Association after a video emerged of the Belgian appearing to spit at Manchester City's Pablo Zabaleta.

A clip has been posted on YouTube showing Fellaini standing over his opponent after he was given a booking for appearing to elbow Zabaleta in the face.

The incident occurred during United's 3-0 defeat to their local rivals on Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the FA have launched an investigation and are expected to request video footage from Sky Sports, who aired the match live this week.

It has also been reported that Zabaleta and City officials have seen the clip, but have no plans to make an official complaint.
