Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao reportedly leaves Old Trafford before the club endured their first loss to Southampton at Old Trafford in 27 years.

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao's future could be in doubt after it was reported that he left the ground without watching his side's 1-0 defeat to Southampton.

The on-loan Colombian striker was left out of Louis van Gaal's matchday squad, with The Metro reporting that the player was seen leaving Old Trafford by car before kickoff.

The same report includes a Tweet made by a member of the public, which pictures the frontman possibly departing the stadium:

United fell foul to a goal from Dusan Tadic in the defeat as the Saints moved above Van Gaal's men into third place in the Premier League table.
