Glenn Hoddle believes that Manchester United will have just enough quality to edge out Liverpool in their Premier League match at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Louis van Gaal's men have won their last five games in the top flight to move to third in the table, while the Merseysiders have struggled to find the net on a regular basis without Daniel Sturridge.
Former England manager Hoddle feels that United's experience and quality up front with Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie should be enough to earn them three points.
He told the Daily Mail: "Both sides are playing poorly and both are defensively weak. When the tactical systems aren't working well, it tends to come down to the quality of the individuals, and that's why I feel this game has come at the right time for United.
"With Robin van Persie coming into form and Wayne Rooney on the pitch, they have more experienced players of quality than Liverpool.
"And they have the momentum of five consecutive wins, however, scratchy they were. Liverpool are in a trough, confidence is low. At Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, it's hard to see beyond a United win."
