Manchester United fans 'to stage walkout against Wolverhampton Wanderers'

Manchester United plan to walk out of Old Trafford in the 68th minute of Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly planning to walk out of Old Trafford in the 68th minute of Saturday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A recent report claimed that the club's supporters were arranging to walk out of the stadium in the 58th minute of the contest in protest against executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and the club's owners.

According to the Daily Mail, the Manchester United Supporters' Trust emailed fans on Thursday urging them to applaud in the 58th minute to recognise the upcoming anniversary of the Munich air disaster before leaving the ground 10 minutes later.

The report adds that the message told the supporters to 'head to the Munich memorial, the pub or home' in protest against the running of the club under Woodward and the Glazers.

The 20-time English champions have made their worst start to a league season for 30 years, although they are fifth in the Premier League table, just six points off fourth-placed Chelsea heading into this weekend's action.

On Thursday, the club announced the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon, with the Portugal international arriving on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are also allegedly trying to sign a new striker before Friday's transfer deadline, with the likes of Salomon Rondon, Willian Jose and Joshua King said to be under consideration.
