Crystal Palace head coach Frank de Boer has reportedly targeted a reunion with Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Since arriving at Selhurst Park, De Boer has made just two additions to his first-team squad, but it appears that the wheels are in motion for new signings to be made before the start of the new Premier League campaign.
According to The Sun, the Dutchman wants to bring in Fosu-Mensah, who was progressing through the Ajax academy during the same period he was the club's manager.
It has been claimed that a deal is in place to sign Arsenal defender Calum Chambers, but that is seemingly dependent on whether De Boer is successful with his approach for Fosu-Mensah.
The 19-year-old made just three starts and seven substitute appearances in all competitions last season, and Jose Mourinho is keen for the versatile youngster to gain more minutes in the top flight.
Watford are also allegedly keen on signing Fosu-Mensah on a season-long loan deal.
