Manchester United and Liverpool could reportedly lock horns for the signature of Torino forward Andrea Belotti during this summer's transfer window.
The 27-year-old has again been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 12 goals and contributing seven assists in 29 Serie A appearances.
Belotti's existing deal is due to expire next June, though, and a recent report claimed that he could be available for as little as €25m (£21.6m) this summer, despite having a release clause of €100m (£86.5m).
According to Tuttosport, Man United and Liverpool are both interested in bringing the Italy international to the Premier League in the upcoming market.
Chelsea, AC Milan and Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in Belotti, who has scored 104 goals in 222 appearances for Torino since arriving from Palermo in 2015.
Man United are said to be keen to sign a new forward as a potential replacement for Edinson Cavani, while Liverpool are also believed to be determined to add another attacker to their squad this summer.
