Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has reportedly held talks about his future with interim boss Ralf Rangnick.
Earlier this month, Martial's agent claimed that the Frenchman was eager to secure a transfer away from Old Trafford during the January window.
However, Rangnick responded by revealing that he had yet to hold discussions about a potential exit, and would welcome the chance to speak with the player.
According to the Daily Mail, the pair held a conversation on Wednesday regarding their respective next moves, the expected resolution being a loan exit for the 26-year-old.
Rangnick has previously insisted that he will not work to convince any wantaway player to stay at the club, and Martial is unlikely to have a change of heart given his lack of game time.
The versatile attacker is said to be open to a transfer to La Liga side Sevilla next month.
