Manchester United reportedly have no plans to sign Juventus full-back Alex Sandro this summer.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the Brazilian defender for some time now, after Jose Mourinho deployed Ashley Young as a makeshift left-back for the majority of the 2017-18 campaign.
However, the Manchester Evening News reports that United have now ended their interest in the player as he considers signing a new contract at Juventus.
Mourinho is still thought to be in the market for a new left-back, but the position is no longer his priority due to the performances of Young and presence of Luke Shaw as a back-up option.
The club are expected to prioritise a new centre-back having already secured the services of Fred and Diogo Dalot, and could also target a younger and cheaper option to Sandro at left-back.
Mourinho is also understood to want a back-up striker this summer, despite having the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial as options behind Romelu Lukaku.
