Manchester United are reportedly confident that they will be able to secure Danny Welbeck to a new contract.
The future of the England international has come under question in recent weeks following reports that the 21-year-old has been struggling to agree a deal with the former Premier League champions.
It is understood that the Red Devils are hopeful of finalising a fresh deal for the frontman before the start of the new season on August 18, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Welbeck has one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford.
