Manchester United have reportedly made little progress over a new contract for midfielder Angel Gomes.
The 19-year-old's current deal will run out in June, although it remains to be seen how the situation of expiring contracts will be settled amid the coronavirus-enforced postponement.
Nevertheless, Gomes will be able to walk away from Old Trafford if the two parties cannot agree fresh terms by the summer, and according to Goal, talks over a new deal have hit a standstill.
The report claims that the England Under-20 international has been offered improved terms to persuade him to remain in Manchester, but Gomes is yet to put pen to paper on an extension with the Red Devils.
The midfielder has made six appearances for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the 2019-20 campaign, including two outings in the Premier League.
