Motherwell 1-1 St Mirren

Motherwell and St Mirren draw 1-1 at Fir Park with the visitors stealing a last-gasp equaliser.

A close contest at Fir Park has ended in a 1-1 draw after a last-gasp St Mirren equaliser.

The scoring was opened as early as the second minute, with Michael Higdon shooting past Craig Samson in the visitors' goal.

St Mirren took control after the goal but the game was stop-start due to the number of fouls being committed. A series of headers and shots went over and wide as the away side continued to press.

In truth, there remained little for either goalkeeper to do with St Mirren winning plenty of corners and enjoying most of the possession.

However, St Mirren nicked a point at the death with substitute Thomas Reilly popping up to share the spoils.
