Eredivisie strugglers NAC Breda and SBV Excelsior played out a 0-0 stalemate at Rat Verlegh Stadion this evening.
Breda remain in the relegation zone and are six points behind Excelsior in the table after a fifth game without a win.
They have only scored one goal during that period and were not in any danger of adding to that tonight as they failed to register a shot on target.
Excelsior themselves have just a single win to their name in their previous nine games, but they looked far the more likely and had 14 attempts on goal in total.
Luigi Bruins and Jordan Botaka squandered the best of their chances as Breda hung on for a valuable away point.
