Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly ready to offer Niko Kranjcar a return to the Premier League.
The Croatian midfielder played under Redknapp at both Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur before leaving England in 2012 for Ukrainian outfit Dynamo Kiev.
Rangers have already brought in Marseille striker Loic Remy this January but a move for his French compatriot Yann M'Vila is looking unlikely after Russian club Rubin Kazan had a bid accepted for the 22-year-old.
Redknapp is now looking at alternative midfield options and has identified Kranjcar as a potential transfer target, according to Sky Sports News.
Kranjcar made 133 Premier League appearances during his time with Pompey and Spurs, scoring 18 goals.
