New Rangers signing Carlos Bocanegra completes his paperwork to enter the UK.

Carlos Bocanegra has been given the greenlight to enter the UK and join Rangers.

The American defender, 32, made his debut for Ally McCoist's side in the Europa League last week - a game they lost 2-1 away to Slovenian side Maribor - but had not secured the necessary paperwork to participate in the game with Motherwell at the weekend.

Bocanegra secured his visa today and is now expected to participate in the home leg against Maribor on Thursday.

Fellow American Alejandro Bedoya faced a similar problem but is not expected to secure his visa until tomorrow. His debut for Rangers is expected this weekend.
