Rangers owner Craig Whyte says that the Gers players will be paid and that he hopes to pull the club out of administration next month.

Rangers owner Craig Whyte has revealed that the playing staff will be paid this month despite the growing financial problems at Ibrox.

There have been fears that the Gers squad will struggle to obtain their wages and could even face redundancies following the club's drop into administration earlier this week.

Under-pressure owner Whyte has claimed that wages will be paid as normal and he expects Rangers to be out of administration next month, according to Sky Sports News.

The 40-year-old reportedly went on to say that he is continuing to find a solution to pull Rangers out of their dire state.
