Clarence Seedorf: 'Atletico Madrid are favourites'

Former Real Madrid midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes that Los Blancos are the slight underdogs in Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid.

Former Netherlands international Clarence Seedorf has claimed that Atletico Madrid are the favourites to book their spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League at the expense of Real Madrid.

The capital rivals will meet on Wednesday for the second leg of their quarter-final, with the score currently level at 0-0 following the clash at the Vicente Calderon.

Real Madrid are seen by many as the favourites due to their strong home form, but that is not a view shared by Seedorf, who represented Los Blancos for four years between 1996 and 2000.

"The 0-0 scoreline was a better result for Atletico," Seedorf told Goal.com. "It's 55-45 now (in Atletico's favour)."

Atletico are unbeaten in seven games against Real Madrid this season.
