Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his delight at Real Madrid clinching the La Liga title for the first time in four years.
Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao ensured that Ronaldo won his first Spanish title since his world record transfer from Manchester United and the winger admitted it was a difficult task.
Ronaldo told newspaper AS: "It's my first league here in Spain and I'm very happy, it's mission accomplished and to win the league is great.
"[The players] are all very happy because it gives you a lot of joy to win the league after 10 months of battling; winning the league is very difficult."
Madrid are seven points ahead of Barcelona with two league fixtures remaining.
