Real Madrid reportedly have no intention of allowing Takefusa Kubo to join Bayern Munich on a season-long loan deal.

Bayern Munich have reportedly failed with a loan approach for Real Madrid youngster Takefusa Kubo.

The 19-year-old has just spent the campaign at Mallorca, contributing four goals and four assists from his 35 appearances in La Liga.

Despite a solid return in his first year in Spain, Real intend to send the Japanese prospect back out on loan for next season.

However, according to AS, Los Blancos want Kubo to continue his development in La Liga, rather than at Bundesliga champions Bayern.

The report claims that Bayern were prepared to pay a £4.5m loan deal to secure the services of the player.

Real are instead expected to allow Kubo to sign for either Villarreal or Granada on a temporary basis.
