Real Madrid will be unable to recall Marcos Llorente from his loan spell at Alaves because "there is no clause" that will allow the Spaniard to return to the Bernabeu.
It had been claimed that Los Blancos wanted to cut short the 21-year-old's season-long loan at Alaves following an injury to Casemiro, which has left the club short of options in a defensive midfield position.
However, Llorente, who came through the youth system at the Bernabeu, has revealed that he will not be allowed to return to the Spanish giants before the end of the current season.
"My aim is to return in a year's time," Llorente told Marca. "Right now my focus in on Alaves. There is no clause that allows me to return in the winter transfer market and that has been said by [Alaves sporting director] Sergio Fernandez."
Llorente has made five appearances for newly-promoted Alaves this season.
