Michael Bradley starts his first game since returning from injury, while Leandro Castan, Marquinhos and Ivan Piris form a back four that features four new additions.

Mattia Destro, Francesco Totti and Erik Lamela partner each other in attack at the expense of Osvaldo.

Meanwhile, Atalanta are without eight of their first-team regulars and will also start with a completely untested back line.
