St Mirren and Ross County vote against the restructuring of leagues in Scotland.

St Mirren and Ross County have decided to vote against the proposed plans to alter the football leagues in Scotland.

Under the new guidelines, Scottish football would have gone to a three-tier system, with 12 teams in the top two divisions, while the remaining 18 clubs would have formed a third league.

However, with St Mirren and Ross County having rejected the idea, no alterations will take place.

An 11-1 majority was needed to push through the change.
