Sheffield Wednesday manager Carlos Carvahal heaped praise on summer signing Fernando Forestieri after the Owls beat Preston North End 3-1 at Hillsborough.
Forestieri was doubtful for the clash with a hamstring injury, but was named in the starting lineup and set up Kieran Lee's opening goal for the Owls by playing a neat one-two with the former Manchester United midfielder.
"Fernando is a special player and we push him a lot because he can do so many things, he links the midfield and attack," Carvahal told reporters.
"It's not easy to score against Preston, this was a dangerous match but I'm happy. The players were fantastic."
The victory moves Wednesday up to 10th in the Championship, three points off a playoff place.
