Andre Villas-Boas says that Gareth Bale is an even bigger threat for Tottenham Hotspur than the last time they came up against Inter Milan.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Andre Villas-Boas believes that Gareth Bale is a more "complete player" than the one that came up against Inter Milan in the Champions League back in 2010.

Welsh international Bale scored a hat-trick in the San Siro as Spurs lost 4-3, while in the home tie at White Hart Lane he continually beat Maicon during a 3-1 win for the Londoners.

With the two teams due to meet in the Europa League tomorrow night, Villas-Boas has warned the Italians that Bale has the ability to cause them even more problems this time around.

"I think Gareth has evolved as player. He is even more threatening now," Villas-Boas told reporters. "I remember seeing the highlights of Inter vs. Tottenham and how Tottenham came back into the game late on.

"Maicon was an outstanding right-back, one of the Brazilian right-backs, so to see a young player like Gareth play like he did against him demonstrates his talent.

"Now, two years on, he plays in a different position. He's become a different player, a bigger player, and a more complete player. He's the kind of player who can determine the outcome of a game, as we've seen in recent matches."

Meanwhile, reports today have claimed that Bale has decided to stay at Spurs for another season, despite rumoured interest in his services from the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
