Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has said that Harry Kane is "match ready", despite a shortened summer break after playing in the World Cup.
Kane helped England to the semi-finals of the tournament in Russia, but the forward appeared to struggle during the latter stages of the competition.
The 25-year-old opted to cut short his summer break in order to feature against Newcastle United last week, but although the striker did not make much of an impact at St James' Park, Pochettino has suggested that he has no concerns.
At a press conference, the Argentine told reporters: "For me all are fit. We put in our mind that all are fit, you cannot tell some player 'you're not fit'.
"For me he is match ready, all the players are fit to play and start the game, but they need time to be at their best."
Kane is likely to start when Spurs face Fulham at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
