Tottenham Hotspur defender Adam Smith reveals that he is eager to test himself in the Premier League next season.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Adam Smith believes that he deserves an opportunity to play in the Premier League.

Smith has been loaned to six Football League clubs since 2009, and the 22-year-old has insisted that it is now time for him to play in England's top division.

The England Under-21 international told talkSPORT: "I have just turned 22. I feel like I've done all my experience.

"I've learnt my trade. This season, I have to play in the Premier League, whether by doing well in pre-season or get a Premier League loan."

Smith made 28 appearances on loan at Millwall last season.
