Team News: Eight changes for Tottenham Hotspur

Andre Villas-Boas makes eight changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side for their trip to Everton.

Roberto Martinez has made one change to the Everton team that beat Aston Villa 2-0 last weekend, with Leon Osman replacing Ross Barkley, who drops to the bench.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas has rung the changes from the side that progressed on penalties in Wednesday's League Cup tie with Hull City, with eight new faces in the starting lineup.

The only survivors are Kyle Walker, Paulinho and Jan Vertonghen.

Everton: Howard; Coleman, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Pienaar, Mirallas; Lukaku

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Walker, Chiriches, Dawson, Vertonghen; Paulinho, Sandro; Lennon, Holtby, Townsend; Soldado
