Stoke City have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone after the two clubs failed to agree a deal.
The 25-year-old was expected to complete a loan deal at the Britannia Stadium today following reports that he was undergoing a medical on Wednesday.
Despite ongoing talks, it appears that the two clubs have been unable to come to an agreement over a potential loan move, according to Sky Sports News.
Huddlestone has dropped down the rankings at Spurs in recent seasons and has not featured so far in new manager Andre Villas-Boas's plans.
