West Bromwich Albion are attempting to sign Jack Butland on loan, reports claim.
Manager Steve Clarke has lost Ben Foster to injury and now wants Stoke City keeper Butland to fill the void.
West Brom believe that they may be able to entice Butland with the offer of first-team football.
The England stopper has been on the bench for Stoke this season, behind Asmir Begovic. He joined the club in January for £3.5m but was loaned straight back to Birmingham City.
The Daily Star claims that with Begovic still at the club, Butland is looking at his options.
However, there could reportedly be issues with the length of any loan deal.
