West Ham United are closing in on the signings of Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello, according to a report.
The Daily Star claims that Hammers manager Sam Allardyce is close to finalising the deals for the two players, who currently ply their trade in Serie A.
While AC Milan are looking to offload midfielder Nocerino in order to facilitate the arrival of Michael Essien from Chelsea, Roma coach Rudi Garcia considers striker Borriello surplus to requirement.
It has also been reported that Nocerino will fly to London on Friday and Borriello could join his Italian compatriot on the same day to join the Hammers.
West Ham are currently third from bottom in the Premier League table with 18 points from 22 matches.
