World number one golfer Luke Donald has been awarded an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list.
The Englishman became the first ever player to top the European and PGA Tour money lists last year.
"I am truly honoured to be awarded an MBE by Her Majesty, particularly in her Jubilee year," the 34-year-old said.
"Both 2011 and 2012 have been very significant years for me, both personally and professionally, and I am touched that my accomplishments have been recognised in this way."
Former England goalkeeper David James and ex-Welsh rugby winger Shane Williams have also been appointed MBEs.
