Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils welcomed another full-back to the club before the end of the winter trading point, with Patrick Dorgu moving from Lecce in Serie A.
The defender made his full debut for Man United on Friday night, when Ruben Amorim's men required a last-minute Harry Maguire strike to down Leicester City in the FA Cup.
Man United are now in the last 16 of both the FA Cup and the Europa League, with the latter representing the club's only realistic chance of securing a spot in the Champions League.
The arrival of Amorim has done little to change the fortunes of the Red Devils, who are still languishing down in the bottom half of the Premier League standings.

Man United want Barcelona defender Balde?
According to TEAMtalk, Man United are targeting the signing of another left-footed full-back despite the recent capture of Dorgu from Italy.
The report claims that the Red Devils are keen on securing the services of Barcelona star Balde during the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is understood that Man United are preparing a £33.3m bid for the 21-year-old, who has been a regular for the La Liga giants this term.
Given Barcelona's difficult financial situation, it is believed that they would be willing to entertain offers for the defender in the summer.
The Red Devils believe that Balde represents a significant upgrade on the two left-footed defenders at the club: Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez.

Is Balde ready for the Premier League?
At just 21 years of age, Balde has established himself as the first-choice left-back for Barcelona during the 2024-25 campaign as they gun for the Spanish crown.
The defender has featured in 21 La Liga contests for the Catalan giants, starting 19 of those clashes whilst also providing three assists.
Barca head coach Hansi Flick is said to be a massive fan of the player, who the German is very reluctant to lose during the summer window.
