Dmitry Tursunov has withdrawn from the Shanghai Masters with an injury just minutes before he was due to take on reigning champion Andy Murray.
The 28-year-old Russian had previously overcome the challenge of Thomaz Bellucci in the first round of the tournament 6-7 6-4 7-5.
The setback is the latest in a lengthy line for Tursunov, who underwent major surgery on his ankle earlier this year to save his career.
Great Britain's Murray will now take on Stanislas Wawrinka in the next round tomorrow.
