Jerzy Janowicz has insisted that he remains determined to break into the ATP top 10 despite this evening's Wimbledon semi-final defeat to Andy Murray.

The Pole admitted that he was disappointed following the 6-7[2] 6-4 6-4 6-3 loss, but remains upbeat about his future prospects.

"I'm a little bit disappointed," Reuters quotes him as saying. "Today I didn't play my best tennis. I think this was second worst match during this tournament. I was struggling a little bit with my serve.

"I'm just hoping one day I'll become top 10 in the world."

The 24th seed became the first Polish man to reach a Grand Slam semi-final after seeing off Lukasz Kubot in the last eight.
