Stuart Broad says that it is unlikely he will play again for England in 2011 due to a shoulder injury.

Stuart Broad has revealed that he is unlikely to play again for England in 2011.

The all-rounder tore a muscle in his shoulder during England's one-day match against India at Lord's on Sunday, September 11.

The side will tour India in October and Broad was expected to feature in the only T20 match of the trip on Saturday, October 29, but he says that now looks increasingly unlikely.

"It's not 100% confirmed I'll not play but I'll only play if the rehab goes fantastically well," he said.

"The shoulder is still quite sore. It's a two-month injury so I'm concentrating on making sure I am in the best possible shape for the games against Pakistan in January."

Graeme Swann has replaced Broad as the England T20 captain for the two upcoming matches against the West Indies.
