Sinisa Mihajlovic hails two-goal M'Baye Niang

M'Baye Niang receives praise from head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic following the two goals that he scored in AC Milan's victory over Sampdoria.

Sinisa Mihajlovic has praised the performance that M'Baye Niang produced during AC Milan's 4-1 win over Sampdoria last night.

The former France youth international scored twice and assisted another goal as his side moved up to fifth in the Serie A standings.

Speaking to reporters after the final whistle, head coach Mihajlovic said of the 20-year-old's contribution: "Niang picked up an injury in pre-season when he was one of the best performers.

"He is now getting back to full fitness, but his performances are not a surprise. He is simply showing once more what he is capable of."

Niang joined Milan from Caen in the summer of 2012 for an undisclosed fee.
