Sports Mole previews Friday's Serie A clash between Genoa and AC Milan.

AC Milan will attempt to continue their fine run of form in Serie A when they travel to struggling Genoa on Friday evening.

The home side have taken nine points from their last six matches to move them out of the bottom three in the table, but they remain just one spot above 18th with 11 matches to play.

AC Milan, meanwhile, are currently the form team in the division having taken 14 points from the last possible 18 on offer. Should they pick up all three points then they would move to within two points of second-placed Napoli, albeit having played one game more.

Genoa have been fairly disappointing on their own patch this season with just four wins from 13 matches, but Milan have managed the same number of victories on the road.

The reverse fixture earlier in the season ended in a 1-0 win for Milan, with the former Serie A champions winning each of the last three matches between the two sides without conceding a goal.

Genoa have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and could continue with Marco Borriello as the lone forward, but Marco Rigoni and Ciro Immobile are both pushing for places in the team.

Milan, meanwhile, could recall Sulley Muntari to their midfield at the expense of Mathieu Flamini, but Robinho is once more expected to start on the bench.
