AC Milan are reportedly lining up a summer swoop for Napoli's Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi.

AC Milan have reportedly entered the race to sign highly-rated Napoli forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The Argentine striker has impressed in Serie A and the Champions League this season, leading the Rossoneri to put him at the top of their summer shopping list.

According to talkSPORT, Adriano Galliani is ready to offer the 26-year-old £6m per year, which would double his current wage.

However, the Italians may have to fight off stiff competition from Manchester City and Chelsea to land their man.

Lavezzi, whose contract runs out in June 2015, moved to Naples from Argentine side San Lorenzo in 2007.
