Swansea City defender Kyle Bartley is looking forward to the chance to face Arsenal this afternoon.
The 21-year-old spent five years at Arsenal before moving to South Wales in the summer, and despite only making one senior appearance so far, he is hopeful of a return to action today.
"I don't know what the manager's thoughts are but obviously there are a lot of fixtures in a short space of time so I'm sure the squad will be rotated," he told the club's official website.
"I have to be patient and wait for a chance to show everyone what I can do."
Speaking in the matchday programme, Bartley added: "I spoke to a few of the Arsenal lads and they are looking forward to the game and hoping I'm involved as well.
"I still speak to the likes of Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, Emmanuel Frimpong and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, all players I got on well with during my time there."
Bartley has endured an injury-hit start to his Swansea career but is now back to full fitness for the second half of the season.
