Arsene Wenger: 'Jack Wilshere will recover from injury'

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger backs Jack Wilshere to recover from his latest injury setback.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that Jack Wilshere will come back stronger from his latest injury setback.

The Gunners confirmed earlier that the 23-year-old midfielder will be out for at least three months due to surgery on a left fibula hairline fracture.

Wenger is confident that despite his persistent injury problems, Wilshere will bounce back.

"Jack Wilshere is young enough to get over this," the Frenchman told the Daily Star. "I'm confident he can make a career his talent deserves."

Wilshere has made just 48 Premier League starts for Arsenal in the past four seasons.
