Roberto Mancini is hopeful that Sergio Aguero will be fit for Manchester City's trip to Arsenal next Sunday.
The Argentine international has missed the club's last two fixtures with a foot injury.
Speaking after his side's 3-3 draw at home with Sunderland yesterday afternoon, Mancini insisted that his side would have claimed maximum points with Aguero in the starting lineup.
"If Sergio had played we would have won this game," Mancini told reporters. "I'm 200% certain of this and for that reason, it's really disappointing that he couldn't play.
"I hope we can have him for the next game."
Aguero has found the net on 16 occasions in the Premier League this season.
