Arsene Wenger could be without midfielder Jack Wilshere for another three months, according to The Mirror.
The 19-year-old is yet to feature for the Gunners this season after he picked up an ankle injury on England duty against Switzerland in June.
Wilshere was expected to make his return two weeks ago in the side's Champions League qualifier against Udinese, but has suffered another setback.
Should the problem not improve, Wilshere could require the insertion of a screw into the joint, keeping him out until December.
Wilshere, who will be unavailable for his club during that time, will also miss the remainder of England's Euro 2012 qualifiers.
