Park Chu-Young to make Premier League debut for Arsenal

Arsene Wenger thinks that summer signing Park Chu-Young is "ready" to make his Premier League debut.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has indicated that he will give Park Chu-Young his Premier League debut after impressing in the Carling Cup.

The South Korea international scored his first goal for the Gunners to clinch a quarter-final spot in the side's 2-1 win against Bolton Wanderers last night.

"He had a very, very good game. His movement was exceptional and his finishing is absolutely fantastic," BBC Sport quotes Wenger as saying.

"He is ready to play in league games."

The 26-year-old signed for Arsenal from AS Monaco in the summer.
