Ashkan Dejagah targets Arsenal scalp

Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah warns Arsenal that he and his teammates expects to secure a positive result from Saturday's clash at the Emirates.

Ashkan Dejagah has warned Arsenal that Fulham will arrive at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow with the expectancy of returning to West London with a positive result.

Rene Meulensteen's men travel North of the capital on Saturday for a clash with the table-topping Gunners knowing that victory could propel the Cottagers to 13th in the Premier League standings, four points clear of the relegation zone.

Despite the clubs' contrasting fortunes this season, Dejagah - who played in the 3-3 draw in this fixture last season - says that defeat is not on the agenda for his side in the visit to the league leaders.

"It's hard to play there but we drew last year so anything can happen in football," he told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.

"We have to fight and we'll go there and stick together. It's not easy to get points there - they have a chance to win the league this season.

"But we're not going into it expecting to lose. We want to get something from the game."

Tomorrow's encounter is scheduled to kick off at 3pm.
