Kieran Gibbs: Mesut Ozil "will take us to the next level"

Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs is adamant with midfielder Mesut Ozil in their side the Gunners will go to the "next level".

Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs believes that midfielder Mesut Ozil will take the club to the "next level".

The German international created all three of his side's goals in their 3-1 win over Stoke City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, which propelled the Gunners back to the top of the Premier League table.

Gibbs told the club's official website: "He's really enjoying himself. He looks very determined and happy and he's a humble boy as well.

"Coming from a club like Real Madrid you would expect a player to come with a bigger head on their shoulders but he's very down to earth and he's passionate.

"It's positive for us and a signing like Ozil is going to push our squad forward because you don't want to let him down. You want to perform for him and he will take us to the next level."

Arsenal take on West Bromwich Albion in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
