Oxdale-Chamberlain targets an England call up following Arsenal move.

New Arsenal signing Alex Oxdale-Chamberlain believes that Arsene Wenger will help him to become an England international.

The 17-year-old, who finalised a £15m transfer to the Gunners from Southampton on Monday, has already targeted an international call up.

"Everybody knows that Mr Wenger is an incredible teacher," said the winger.

"I'm just hoping that I can learn from him in the way that so many have done.

"I want to work hard and hopefully make the kind of impact that will help me into the England senior team.

"People already know that, even though Jack Wilshere is only 19 years old, he is still being looked at by Fabio Capello for the national team."

Oxdale-Chamberlain has already represented England at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-21 levels.
