Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger not giving up on Premier League title

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger suggests that he has not given up on the title race, despite being six points behind leaders Chelsea in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that his team are still in the Premier League title hunt, despite residing six points off the pace.

The Gunners are currently fourth in the table with seven games to play.

While fifth-placed Everton are trying to steal Arsenal's Champions League spot, Wenger believes that there is no reason why the Gunners cannot clinch the title due to both the Toffees and the North London outfit being six points behind their desired place.

"It's all to go for I think, for everybody," Wenger told the club's official website. "Everybody speaks about Everton coming back on us. Why should we then not come back on the teams who are in front of us?

"There's still a lot of turning games that will happen until the end of the season, but it's down to the quality of our performances.

"We don't think about the title race now, we think about winning again and [this week's results] show you how small the differences are between the Premier League teams."

Arsenal will take on title chasers Manchester City at the Emirates on Saturday.
