Arsene Wenger notices Aaron Ramsey, Cesc Fabregas similarities

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says that, like Cesc Fabregas before him, Aaron Ramsey has also added goals to his game.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has noted similarities in the development of Cesc Fabregas and Aaron Ramsey following the Welshman's impressive start to the Premier League campaign.

The 22-year-old has scored 10 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners, which has helped them ascend to the top of the table.

"His evolution has been similar to Cesc Fabregas," the French coach told reporters. "For a long period Fabregas was there but could not score goals.

"He said to me 'But I cannot score goals'. I said 'Don't worry, just be in the situation'. Once the first goes in, the rest follow. Why? Because you add time and composure to the fact that you are in the position.

"As long as you convince your mind you cannot score, then you rush your game and it shows. You need to be relaxed."

The North Londoners travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United this afternoon.
